About Me
My name is Sathish and Bardo is my UI/UX design studio. I work as an independent
consultant from my home in Bangalore. My clients are small & medium sized product development
companies and startups.
Clients come to me for advice on user interface design and usability issues related to mobile
apps and web apps. I help them create effective, successful user experiences that are pleasant
and easy to use. During the last 20 years, I have worked on a variety of projects, varying in
scale, technology, domain, and users.
1998-Present
I started Bardo in 1998. As a consultant, I have led many UI/UX projects with technology firms like Sutherland, Celstream, Prime Focus, Tutorvista, Amazon, Tejas Networks, Exilant, Netkraft etc. With startups I have worked on long term retainer contract, leading design thinking and helping them evolve their concepts from ideas to excellent user experiences. Some of the successful startups are Djubo, GrowthEnabler and Asklaila.
1993–1998
Co-founded Icarus Design in 1993 with my good friend George Mathews. Worked as principal partner and product designer for 5 years. Icarus is now one of the leading branding/industrial design studios in India.
